With the rapid spread of the corona virus, investors have turned to safe investment options like gold. Due to this, Delhi Bullion market reached Rs 45,343 per ten gram with a jump of Rs 773 on Friday.

HDFC Securities gave this information. In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 44,570 per ten grams. On the lines of gold, silver also rose by Rs 192 to Rs 48,180 per kg. In the previous session, it had closed at Rs 47,988 per kg.

HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said the 24-carat gold spot price in Delhi crossed Rs 45,300 level with a rise of Rs 773. Rupee was also in loss of 23 paise. In the international market, gold was at $ 1,678 an ounce. Silver was trading at $ 17.34 an ounce.
