27 people killed in Delhi violence, police will respond in HC today after reprimand

The protests organized in support and support of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), the death toll in the violence erupted in the North-East area of the country's capital Delhi.  So far 27 people have lost their lives.  It is a matter of relief that no untoward incident happened on Wednesday.  There was no news of violence from anywhere. Delhi Police also claimed that the situation is under control.

NSA Ajit Doval, who once again visited the violence affected areas on Wednesday, also said that all is quiet.  At the same time, Thursday is going to be important for Delhi Police.  

Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik has to watch inflammatory videos of the leaders, after which the police have to answer in the High Court at 2.15 pm on Thursday.  

In fact, the Delhi High Court has directed the police to respond by Thursday on the petition related to filing an FIR regarding inflammatory statements in the Delhi violence case.  Following the direction of the court, Delhi Police Commissioner will reply on Thursday after watching all the videos.

 Police claims - situation under control
 Delhi Police PRO MS Randhawa held a press conference on Wednesday.  He said that so far 106 people have been arrested and 18 FIRs have been registered on charges of causing disturbance and violence in this case.

 Ms Randhawa told that action is going on based on CCTV footage.  A large number of police personnel have been deployed in the affected areas.  

The drone is being monitored by the camera.  He said that action will be taken against those whose stones are seen on the roofs.  He also claimed that the situation is under control.

 Ajit Doval took over the front
 National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, who visited the violence affected areas on Tuesday night, also reached Ground Zero on Wednesday.  He visited Maujpur, Zafarabad and Ghonda.  

The NSA appealed to the people to maintain peace and also assured them that the Delhi Police is fully safe under their protection and strict action will be taken against those who are guilty of this violence.

 NSA Ajit Doval informed Union Home Minister Amit Shah of the situation after the violence-affected tour.  The meeting between Amit Shah and Ajit Doval lasted for about 2 hours.  

The Home Secretary and the Commissioner of Delhi Police were also present in this.  In this meeting, Ajit Doval systematically informed the Home Minister about the violence-hit areas.  At the same time, he also told the Home Minister that the situation in Delhi is now becoming increasingly normal and there is a situation of peace.
